DYSA Board of Directors is pleased to announce a major change to our Fall Program. Our goal is to improve player development by offering the same quality of instruction no matter which coach is assigned to your child. Therefore we will be implementing an Academy style training for U10G, U10B, U12G, U12B and U15 using qualified Mentors utilizing a standard curriculum developed by MA Youth Soccer. Below is the Tentative Schedule for each group:
Bouley Field 6
Bouley Field 6
Bouley Field 10
Bouley Field 10
Bouley Field 11
All team coaches will be requested to attend their group session to assist the 2 Mentors as needed. This will be a great opportunity for coaches to learn age appropriate drills, learn the game and be able to manage the games assigned to their team on Saturdays. Coaches wanting to have an additional second practice may do so, but not required.
About 50% of the players participate in SCSL or GPS Vipers travel teams which has a demanding training schedule. Historically many do not attend Fall Instructional practice, so we expect the ratio of players to Mentors/coaches to provide players with best environment for development.
As a secondary benefit to this change, we believe we have created a better learning environment for coaches also. Many parents shy away from coaching because they are not sure what is expected. The Mentors will guide coaches and if needed assist in first couple of games to help the coach get comfortable.
Knowing you have the assistance to be a successful coach, PLEASE volunteer. This program only works if we have volunteer coaches.
If you have not volunteered to coach, please reach out to the Division Director and let them know you are interested:
If you would like to be a Mentor, please contact

Lastly our Fall Program will now be known as Fall Instructional (not Recreational).
The Recreational Program's purpose is for the youth of Dartmouth to participate in an organized process of playing, learning and enjoying the game of soccer where they will enjoy the sport for its ability to foster athleticism, self-confidence, teamwork, and sportsmanship in recreational matches.
We are looking for players (pass the word on to new families), volunteer coaches, and Division Directors.
All Games are played on Saturdays (weather permitting). U10 and higher teams also practice 1-2 times during the week. Cost is only $90 for an 8 week season. Avoid the late fee of $25 by Clicking Here before Aug 12th.
Players interested in playing in the Dartmouth FC competitive fall program need to sign up by 6/28. Program is available for players born between 2011 (U9) and 2005 (U15). The season will be comprised of six games with playoffs for U11-U15. Registration fee is $80.
This year the Annual DYSA Soccer Ball will be a Comedy night and Dance. This should be lots of fun while also raising funds to support all the programs at DYSA, including Fall Instructional, Spring Micro, SCSL(Dartmouth FC) and GPS Vipers FC.
