The Dartmouth FC Fall Program is designed to allow players to experience a higher level of competitive soccer while maintaining an instructional component. The program is administered by the South Coast Soccer League. Games are typically played on Saturday afternoons against opponents from neighboring towns (i.e. Fairhaven, Fall River, Norton, Bourne). The season is comprised of 6 games (3 home and 3 away) and begins on September 7th. There are no games on Columbus Day weekend unless a makeup game is required. Practices are typically once a week but it is left to the coach’s discretion.
There are no standings kept for 9U & 10U. Grades 11U-15U will maintain standings and there will be playoffs on November 3rd and 4th, #1 seed will have home field if available.
Registration fee is $80 which is used to pay referees, SCSL registration fees, and to provide players with a soccer jersey.
Coaches will attempt to provide every player an equal amount of playing time during the course of the season.
Coaches will provide players with the opportunity to explore different positions on the field.
Coaches, players, and parents will follow the policies and procedures as defined in the South Coast Soccer League Policies Manual for the present year.
All players in the SCSL Fall Competitive Program will be required to be registered in the DYSA Fall Instructional Program if they are a resident of Dartmouth. Players not residing in Dartmouth will first need to have permission from their municipality’s recognized soccer organization if one does exist. If there is a recognized instructional program in a non-Dartmouth player’s municipality then the player is encouraged to participate in that program as well.
Teams from SCSL Spring are allowed to carry over to the subsequent SCSL Fall season.
Initial player placement is set based on tryout results from the SCSL Spring season.
Tryouts are held at the coach's discretion or if the number of players exceeds the number of available roster positions.
Coaches, players, parents in violation of any SCSL policies will be subject to all SCSL sanctions that apply. Please refer to the latest SCSL handbook on http://southcoastsoccer.org for a listing of policies.
Coaches, players, parents in violation of DYSA’s policies will be brought to the attention of the DYSA Board of Directors where the issues will be reviewed and sanctions will be applied to the individual(s) involved if necessary.
