COACHES, ASSISTANT COACHES, MENTORS, MANAGERS, BOARD MEMBERS AND ALL OTHER VOLUNTEERS
New federal laws have been implemented that will impact all coaches, assistant coaches, mentors, managers, board members, and other volunteers. The laws have been instituted to further protect children involved in youth organizations. A new software system (Stack Sports) has been put in place that replaces the former software system used in the past, so ALL coaches, assistant coaches, mentors, managers, board members, and other volunteers MUST register in the new system and complete ALL steps outlined below. A registration is not deemed complete until all steps have been completed. The system is new, so please allow extra time for lags in the registration process as well as the other processes (including the CDC concussion certification and SafeSport certification process) as there are multiple organizations and individuals accessing these same systems in a short time frame. To complete the registrations process, please follow the steps below and feel free to contact Paula Medeiros (
) if you have any questions.
Step 1 – Register for a Stack Sports Account at:
https://www.secure-sam.com/dartmouth.mayouthsoccerconnect.org/sam/registration/register.php
Please be sure to have an electronic head shot available for upload during the registration process.
Step 2 – Register and complete the CDC Concussion at (see important bullets below if a CDC Concussion Certification has been completed through another youth organization during 2019):
https://headsup.cdc.gov/
Please be sure to upload the CDC Concussion Certification to your registration within Stack Sports.
- The CDC Concussion Certification must have a 2019 date to be valid. All CDC Concussion Certifications prior to 2019 are not considered valid.
- If a CDC Concussion Certification has been completed through another youth organization AND it is dated with a 2019 date, then please upload this certificate. The Concussion Certification MUST be through the CDC in order to be valid.
Step 3 – Register and complete the online course work for Safe Sport that is listed under your profile (see important bullets below if Safe Sport has been completed through another youth organization during 2019):
Please be sure to upload the SafeSport Certification to your registration within Stack Sports.
- If SafeSport has been completed through another youth organization AND it is dated with a 2019 date, then please upload this certificate.
